Job Summary
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment by performing daily cleaning duties to hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replace linens, towels, and room amenities according to hotel standards.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, shampoo, tissues, and toilet paper.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Follow proper chemical handling procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed (washing, drying, folding linens).
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and health/safety regulations.
