The Specialized Transitional Home is a program designed to assist three to four individuals whose needs cannot be met by less intensive support options. This program offers support in learning life and leisure skills, personal care, and community integration, as outlined in each person's individualized plan
Location/Schedule – 1881 Twin Pines Drive, Macon, Georgia Rotating shifts Sun-Sat 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am

Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility, providing daily personal care in the home.
- Counsel individuals on behavioral concerns, basic decision-making, and the resolution of minor issues.
- Provide transportation for individuals/residents to appointments and scheduled activities.
- Perform housekeeping duties such as washing clothes/dishes, dusting, running errands, wiping baseboards, sweeping, mopping, and other related tasks.
- Implement interventions developed by the Behavior Analyst in the Behavior Support Plan to prevent challenging behaviors and ensure the safety of individuals during crisis situations.
- Utilize de-escalation strategies to reduce and prevent harmful behaviors in crisis situations.
- Collaborate closely with the Behavior Analyst, treatment team members, and facility staff to coordinate crisis management approaches and ensure consistency in behavior support strategies.
- Requires High School Diploma.
- Requires certification as a registered behavioral technician
- At least 1 year working in behavioral health/ intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or related field
- Must have good computer skills.
- Communications skills and the ability to foster good relationships among others is a plus.
