Part time
Star Choices, Inc., is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. We provide support to people in their homes and the community. Hours are flexible, depending on the needs of the person supported.

Job Requirements:
- Dependable Vehicle
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current Auto Insurance
- High school diploma or GED (a copy must be provided)
- Acceptable drug screen, background check, and driving record
*Previous experience preferred but not necessary
Additional Information
$13.42 per/hour starting pay
$14.03 per/hour, eligible for an increase after a six-month review
$15.25 per/hour, eligible for an increase after a 1-year review
- $1000 Retention Bonus at the end of one year

Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation as needed.
- Observe and document any significant changes, community connections, and daily activities.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Foster positive relationships that promote independence and well-being.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulations in home or community activities.
