Position Overview:
The HR Generalist/Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources department. This includes managing the recruitment lifecycle, administering benefits and leave, ensuring policy compliance, and assisting with employee relations and engagement initiatives. This position will provide HR support for River Edge Baldwin and Oconee sites.
Location/Schedule: 175 Emery Highway, Macon, GA. - Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility.
- Assist clients in identifying personal goals and life skills development.
- Respond to complex employment-related inquiries from staff, applicants, and managers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving proficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR
- 2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably as a generalist
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices
- Experience working with HRIS systems
