Position Overview:
The Nurse Manager is responsible the Child & Adolescent unit for directing, organizing, and supervising nursing staff while coordinating nursing services to ensure high-quality, effective client care. This role provides leadership, ensures compliance with quality standards, and supports a positive and productive work environment.
Location: 3575 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, organize, and supervise nursing staff to ensure effective client care
- Assess client health problems and care needs
- Provide leadership, guidance, and clinical oversight to unit staff
- Ensure staff are properly trained and compliant with policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate client care quality and outcomes
- Apply evidence-based healthcare practices and behavioral health standards
- Review client and staff data to assess the effectiveness of care delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Active Georgia RN license (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- At least 2 years of experience in behavioral health or a related field
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster positive working relationships
