What are the responsibilities and job description for the sandwich line cook/prep cook position at River Daze Cafe?
River Daze Cafe is a casual breakfast and lunch establishment with a hard-working, fun-loving crew. We take pride in providing excellent service and product with many of our menu items and ingredients prepared in house. We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a passion for delivering quality service and product to join our team. Applicants must have the ability to multi-task and be self-motivated while maintaining a team-work mentality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items to the business' guidelines while adhering to food safety standards
- Execute tickets in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and the cafe
- Communicate effectively with customers as needed to enhance their experience
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to take direction and adapt to cafe standards
- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
