Assistant Teacher
New Hope, PA | Part Time and Full Time, Hourly Available | $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
Part Time Options: Monday - Friday 10am-4pm or 1pm-6pm
Full Time Options: Monday - Friday 9:30am-5:30pm, 10:00am-6:00pm, or 7:30am-3:30pm

What is needed for this job
- High school diploma
- Associate/Bachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
- Are 21 and have 2 years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
- Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
- Ability to pass all relevant clearances

- Being patient and kind with our parents
- Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
- Adjusting curriculum to ensure that all children meet the learning objectives
- Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
