Operations/ Logistics Leader - Inventory
Billerica, Massachusetts (On-site)
Full-time | Early shift preferred (approximately 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with flexibility)
Overview
A growing organization is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Leader / Inventory Specialist to support daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and materials movement within a combined warehouse environment totaling approximately 37,000 sq. ft.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing warehouse operations, inventory control, ERP/WMS transactions, and physical warehouse activity in a fast-paced environment. The position will play a key role in helping support and stabilize a newly combined warehouse operation.
Compensation
$30.00 to $40.00 per hour plus potential overtime eligibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives
- Perform inventory adjustments, replenishments, and variance investigations
- Manage inventory transactions and material requests within ERP/WMS systems
- Load, unload, organize, and transport materials using warehouse equipment
- Support warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Track obsolete or expired inventory as needed
- Assist with warehouse process improvements and space optimization efforts
- Coordinate materials movement across warehouse operations
- Support compliance with operational and safety procedures
Qualifications
Required
- 4 years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience
- Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Microsoft Dynamics / D365 experience required
- Inventory control and cycle count experience
- Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and stackers
- Leadership or team lead experience within a warehouse environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment and lifting up to 50 lbs
Preferred
- Experience within medical device, manufacturing, or other regulated environments
- Experience supporting warehouse process improvements
- Exposure to third-party warehouse coordination
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
