Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. In this role, you will create a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and literacy education. Your dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and a love for learning in children aged 2.5 to 5 years old. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong understanding of childhood development principles to support each child's growth and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Plan lesson plans based on the child's interest, needs and strengths.
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management and social-emotional learning
- Planning engaging lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development
- Manage classroom activities to ensure safety, discipline, and effective classroom management techniques are upheld
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones
- Support children with special education needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and assessments to monitor growth and inform instructional strategies
Experience (does not need because we will train you)
- Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is not required but would be prefer.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math instruction, and physical education
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Previous private school or daycare experience will be viewed favorably

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
