Responsibilities- Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, rest time, and outdoor play to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early learning and developmental milestones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Foster positive social, emotional, and behavioral development through guidance and encouragement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements.
- Comply with mandated reporting requirements and promptly report concerns regarding child safety or welfare.
- Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other daily care routines as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide high-quality care and education.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nursery, babysitting, nanny, or similar caregiving setting.
- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is a plus.
- Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with children, parents, and coworkers.
- CPR, First Aid, Pediatric CPR, and Pediatric First Aid certifications are preferred but not required. Training opportunities may be available.
