Responsibilities
- Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor time to ensure safety at all times
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities focused on childhood development instruction and early learning milestones
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom or daycare environment that promotes safety and engagement
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences
- Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to child safety or well-being
- Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation
- Assist with diapering, infant care routines, and toddler care as needed, adhering to health and safety standards
Experience (Will Train)
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Classroom experience managing young children’s activities and behavior management strategies
- Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
