Position Summary
Provide individualized guidance and recovery support to clients engaged in behavioral health or diversion programs. Using lived experience, foster trust, teach coping strategies, and empower participants to achieve sustainable wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one mentorship and peer support to clients navigating recovery or diversion programs.
- Assist clients with appointments, community integration, and engagement in recovery activities.
- Lead or co-facilitate peer support groups and workshops.
- Share personal recovery experiences to model resilience and hope.
- Maintain accurate client records while respecting confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure client-centered care and resource access.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NYS CRPA or other recognized peer credential preferred.
- Personal experience in recovery from substance use or mental health challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to non-judgmental, client-centered peer support.
Compensation & Benefits (all positions):
- $22–$27/hour depending on experience
