Position Summary
Empower individuals recovering from mental health challenges through one-on-one mentoring and community-based support. Drawing from your personal lived experience, you will guide clients in building self-advocacy skills, wellness routines, and confidence to navigate their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized coaching and peer support focused on self-advocacy, wellness management, and daily living skills.
- Conduct outreach, resource navigation, and advocacy for housing, benefits, and entitlements.
- Facilitate workshops, peer counseling, and recovery education sessions.
- Share lived experience to promote empowerment, hope, and skill-building.
- Maintain accurate records of client engagement and program participation.
- Collaborate with team members to support a client-centered, recovery-focused approach.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Peer Advocate or related training program preferred.
- Lived experience with mental health challenges or recovery (self or close family member).
- Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to non-judgmental, client-centered care and peer support principles.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
