Engineering Manager – Design

Are you a leader with design experience looking to take the technical lead and mentor a team of engineers through the design process of state-of-the-art machinery?

On offer is a leadership role with autonomy across multiple departments, including electrical, mechanical, and design. You will build and guide your own team, mentoring them through the industrial equipment design process, from R&D and prototyping to final design improvements. You will review and enhance designs to boost efficiency and performance, while working closely with customers to ensure specifications are met and operations are optimized.
This role would suit a proven leader with design skills looking to advance their career to become a technical lead, working across technically challenging engineering projects.
The Role:
- Create and review designs for industrial equipment and machinery of varying size and complexity
- Build, manage, and lead a team of engineers
- Improve existing designs, develop processes, and enhance efficiencies
- Collaborate with customers to ensure design specifications are met
The Person:
- Proven leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Strong design engineering skills, preferably using SolidWorks
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
