Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide customers with product and service information
- Build and maintain rapport with customers
- Be positive, confident, reliable, friendly and engaged during all calls
- Identify customer needs and resolve problems
- Provide product sales opportunities and promotions
- Capture data, enter clearly and accurately
- Use customer service skills to appropriately satisfy and win customers
- Utilize tools to check service availability; improve the rate of successful installation
- Set appropriate expectations regarding installation and service; reschedule installation appointments as needed
- Perform initial and periodic follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
- Call center experience preferred
- Must possess exemplary verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of telecommunication products is a plus
- Outstanding telephone and customer service etiquette
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to navigate through several applications simultaneously
- Knowledge of CSG & Sugar CRM a plus
- Keyboard and/or typing skills
- Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area.
