Base Pay Uncapped Commission

If you’ve proven you can sell, especially in roofing, solar, or other high-ticket industries, this is an opportunity to own your pipeline, close high-value deals, and scale your income. 

This is not a “wait for leads” role. 

This is a build-your-book, high-autonomy, and high-reward position.

We are looking to hire only 1-2 sales professionals. We aren’t building large teams, but a tight-knit group of high-performers.

What You’ll Do 

This position is primarily sales and business development, where you will:

  • Generate new business through door knocking, cold outreach, and territory development
  • Conduct roof inspections
  • Identify insurance vs. retail opportunities
  • Build scopes, present estimates, and close contracts
  • Own your pipeline and manage follow-up in CRM
  • Maintain client relationships through project completion (light oversight)
How Your Time is Spent
  • 60% – New Business Development: Prospecting, door knocking, outbound outreach
  • 30% – Sales Process & Closing: Inspections, estimates, presentations, and closing
  • 10% – Account & Project Oversight: Client communication and project follow-through
What Your First 90 Days Look Like

First 30 Days

  • Learn our sales process, roofing systems, and insurance workflows
  • Shadow inspections and begin generating your own leads
  • Start building your pipeline

Days 30–60

  • Run your own appointments and inspections
  • Begin closing residential deals
  • Build consistency in outbound prospecting

Days 60–90

  • Close deals independently and manage a full pipeline
  • Expand into larger opportunities (including commercial)
  • Establish your rhythm and income trajectory

This is a self-generated pipeline role. You are responsible for creating your own opportunities. Leads are not handed to you.

Minimum Requirements
  • 2 years in commission-based or high-ticket sales
  • Proven ability to generate your own leads
  • Comfortable with door-to-door or outbound prospecting
  • Strong closing and objection-handling skills
  • Experience in roofing, construction, solar, or similar industries (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation, Benefits & Colorado Pay Transparency

Status and Structure

This is a W-2 employee position, with a base pay structure that would kick in, once performance metrics are met after day 30. Pay would be a minimum of $3,000 after the first 30 days of employment, meeting metrics, with an opportunity to earn more in bonuses as well.

Compensation (Colorado pay transparency)

Sales representatives earn 30%-40% of net profit on all jobs sold, based on individual performance and commission tier. A base pay in the amount of $3,000 monthly, will be implemented after 30 days if performance metrics are met. Consistent performers can realistically expect total annual compensation between $90,000 and $150,000, with top performers earning up to $350,000 or more, depending on individual results, territory, and market conditions. Average individual commissions typically range from $2,400 to $3,200 on residential projects and $8,400 to $11,200 on commercial projects.

In addition to standard per‑job commissions, this role includes additional commission opportunities when you help train or develop other sales team members on jobs they sell. There will also be opportunity for sales bonuses paid out quarterly, based on sales goals set by the sales team leader. Long‑term producers may also develop recurring and residual revenue streams from the accounts and relationships they build with Rise Construction.
