Lifestyle & Engagement Coordinator – RISE at Glen Kernan Park (55 Active Living)

About The Role

At RISE at Glen Kernan Park, our Thrive55 program is the heartbeat of our 55 active adult community. This role is not simply about planning events — it is about creating energy, connection, and belonging that directly impacts resident satisfaction and renewals.

We are seeking a proven lifestyle professional with direct 55 or senior living experience who can step in immediately, take ownership of the community calendar, and execute high-quality programming without hand-holding.

This is a high-impact role. The Lifestyle & Engagement Coordinator plays a critical part in both resident engagement and leasing success. While the primary focus is programming and community activation, this position will also support leasing efforts when needed — including tours, follow-ups, and showcasing the Thrive55 lifestyle to prospective residents.

If you do not have prior 55 or senior living programming experience, this will not be the right fit.

What We’re Looking For (Experience Required)

• Proven experience leading lifestyle programming in a 55 active adult or senior living community
• Demonstrated success managing and executing a full monthly events calendar
• Experience driving strong resident participation and engagement
• Ability to build vendor partnerships and secure instructors, speakers, and entertainers
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to connect authentically with mature residents
• Comfortable supporting leasing activities, including tours and prospect engagement
• Experience promoting events through outreach and social media
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  
  
  

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Lifestyle Leadership

• Develop and own a dynamic monthly calendar aligned with Thrive55 programming pillars
• Plan and execute engaging events, classes, outings, and wellness initiatives
• Track participation and engagement metrics
• Build and maintain strong local partnerships
• Create and distribute newsletters and lifestyle communications
  
  
  

Leasing & Retention Support

• Support leasing efforts by participating in tours and highlighting the lifestyle experience
• Assist with prospect follow-ups when needed
• Contribute to renewals and retention by strengthening resident engagement
• Partner with the Property Manager to align programming with occupancy goals
  
  
  

This role requires energy, structure, creativity, and execution. You must be able to turn ideas into organized, successful events — and confidently communicate the value of the lifestyle to both residents and prospects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $49,000 based on experience
