Rooms Intern – Job Description
Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary, Internship
Location: The Garland – North Hollywood, CA
Rate of Pay: $22.50 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a Rooms Intern to join our team and gain a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations within the Rooms Division. This internship provides hands-on experience in several key areas, including:
- Front Desk
- Guest Services
- Night Audit
- Housekeeping
- Store/Concierge
During peak business periods, interns may be asked to support departments outside their assigned schedule to ensure smooth operations and exposure to real-world hotel dynamics.
Cross-Department Exposure
To help interns gain a well-rounded view of hotel operations and discover personal career interests, the program also includes immersive experiences in departments beyond Rooms, such as:
- Banquets
- The Front Yard Restaurant
- Revenue Management
- Sales
- Catering
- Human Resources
- Marketing
Interns may request additional time in any department to deepen their knowledge and broaden their skills.
