Job Title: Director of Sales, Workforce Solutions
Location: Ringo / Remote/ Hybrid
Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer
Job Overview:
Ringo is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Sales your primary focus will be on accelerating our Go-to-Market strategy. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. The Director of Sales will work closely with leadership to ensure alignment with company goals while fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic outbound sales plan, focusing on creating new business opportunities and expanding Ringo's market footprint
- Identify and target prospective clients that fit within the defined Ideal Client Profile (ICP), ensuring alignment with Ringo’s value proposition
- Build and maintain relationships with industry associations and key partners to enhance Ringo’s presence in the market
- Build, nurture, and manage an active pipeline of sales opportunities, maintaining a constant focus on growth and progression
- Identify and engage key decision-makers among targeted leads, initiating the sales process and cultivating relationships from the outset
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to refine sales strategies
- Schedule and lead discovery meetings to qualify prospects and assess their needs, while preparing and delivering impactful product demonstrations
- Conduct product demos and create compelling presentations that effectively showcase the value of Ringo’s solutions
- Close sales opportunities, transitioning successful projects to the Client Services team for seamless implementation and ongoing client support
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, providing timely follow-up and thoroughly qualifying leads generated through marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to refining and building best practices around CRM pipeline management, as well as enhancing marketing efforts, including Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and contact information in our CRM system to ensure transparency and consistency.
- Set, track, and report on key sales metrics, ensuring continuous improvement
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to executive leadership.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual activity and revenue targets, contributing directly to Ringo’s growth objectives.
- Drive sales initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales initiatives.
- Continuously strive to enhance your industry knowledge with the goal of becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Ringo’s clients and partners
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure high performance and productivity
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 7 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in Vendor Management Software
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
- Data-driven mindset with experience in CRM tools and sales analytics
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
