Position Summary:
The Global Used Vehicle Director is responsible for driving revenue growth through expanding our worldwide used vehicle business serving U.S. military personnel, Department of Defense civilians, and expatriate customers across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all used vehicle operations across Military AutoSource's overseas locations.
- Develop and execute a global used vehicle strategy that supports military and expatriate customers worldwide.
- Establish inventory standards, pricing strategies, aging controls, and inventory turn objectives across all markets.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including gross profit, inventory turn, retail sales performance, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate vehicle logistics, inventory allocation, and operational processes between U.S.-based acquisition activities and overseas retail operations.
- Identify opportunities to expand used vehicle sales and improve customer experience across all markets.
- Establish car buying channels in US markets to support International AutoSource and Military AutoSource retail sales including wholesale and direct customer purchases.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of automotive used vehicle management experience, preferably within dealer groups, multi-location operations, or large-scale automotive retail organizations.
- Proven experience leading used vehicle acquisition, inventory management, appraisal, and remarketing operations.
- Strong understanding of used vehicle pricing strategies, valuation tools, inventory turn management, and profitability metrics.
- Experience managing high-volume inventory operations across multiple locations.
- Advanced analytical, financial, and operational management capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary plus variable compensation tied to achievement of used car sales with a $40k-$50k Target Bonus
Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
