Overview
Location: Riley Hospital
Hours: possibly 16-24 hrs/wk primarily evenings and weekends 2p-11p, depending on the needs of the department

Serves as an information resource by answering questions, providing accurate up-to-date information and giving directions to areas within the hospital and any adjoining medical facilities. Responsible for being a culture champion by embracing and demonstrating the mission and vision of the organization. Requires a concierge level customer service attitude.

High School Diploma/GED required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a welcoming and professional representative of the organization.
- Engage with a large volume of patients, families, and visitors, we average 1,500–2,000 interactions each day
- Utilize computer systems efficiently to access and communicate information.
- Escort patients and family members to various locations throughout the hospital.
- Assist out-of-town and out-of-state visitors by providing information about the hospital, local community, and surrounding resources
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Flexibility to work at different locations as needed.
- Comfortable initiating and engaging in conversations with patients, families, and visitors.
- Ability to remain active throughout the shift, including walking approximately 10,000–15,000 steps per day.
High School Diploma/GED required.
- Previous concierge level customer service experience preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience involving patient/public contact preferred.
