Position Summary

The Truck Detailer is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing trucks and equipment to company standards. This position involves both interior and exterior detailing, power washing, polishing, and assisting with painting preparation.

Shift Availability

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Clean and detail the interior and exterior of trucks
• Shampoo and vacuum truck interiors
• Buff painted surfaces as needed
• Polish aluminum wheels and fuel tanks
• Power wash trucks, trailers, and engine compartments
• Prepare frames and components for painting
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous detailing experience preferred (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
