Position Summary:

Rihm Family Companies is looking for an On-Call Truck Driver to join our growing team. 

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and/or ride with driver to deliver between various locations upon
• request.
• Communicate in a timely manner with company staff as required.
• Interact professionally with staff, customers and vendors.
• Maintain accurate and timely records as required by DOT federal regulations.
• Comply with Federal laws pertaining to cellular phone use.
• Other duties to meet business requirements.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years truck driving experience.
• Must have active truck driving experience within the past 12 months.
• Valid Class ‘B’ CDL and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT required physical and drug screen.

Key Attributes/Skills/Characteristics

• Flexibility to quickly respond to delivery/driving requests and work when provided with a minimum of a 24-notice period.
• Ability to take public transportation (plane, rental car, bus) back to the starting point if a one-way trip is scheduled.
• Ability to make short/local and long-distance trips on short notice.
• Ability for overnight travel.
• Professional appearance and manner.
