Job Description:
Seeking a Water Transfer Operator/Representative to provide field oversight and support for water transfer operations from supply water pipelines to receiver sites. This is a 100% field-based position responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient water transfer activities supporting construction, drilling, and completions operations.
Initial Schedule: 5x2 (8 hour days)
Future Schedule: 8x6 (10 hour days)
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight for water transfer operations
- Attend all RU/RD jobs on water transfer from supply water pipeline to receiver sites
- Support and perform verification and validation of safety program expectations (PSMS and WMS) for contractors performing work
- Serve as Water Management/Water Transfer Representative at receiver sites (Construction, Drilling, Completions)
- Check for leaks during water transfer operations
- Check for setup readiness including:
- Connections
- Equipment
- Metering
- Standards integrity
- Manage diesel extract operations
- Handle 3P sales coordination
- Ensure no EFT/Open Ticket responsibilities are outstanding
- Monitor and verify proper water transfer procedures and compliance
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience (ideal)
- Knowledge of water transfer operations and equipment
- Understanding of safety programs (PSMS and WMS)
- Ability to inspect and verify equipment setup and connections
- Strong attention to detail for leak detection and system integrity
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently in a field environment
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work rotating schedules
Role Details:
Location: Midland, Texas
Schedule: Initial – 5x2 (8 hour days) Future Schedule – 8x6 (10 hour days)
Pay: Level II $65/hr - Level III $70/hr
Salary : $65 - $70
