Job Summary and Primary Objectives:
Assists with QE with internal quality and scrap reduction tasks. Achieve company objectives related to quality. Continuously improve Quality related policies, procedures, programs, and activities within department.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Daily review of internal quality issues.
- Daily review of die breaks in Cold Forge and Thread Rolling.
- Coordinate internal sorts related to broken dies.
- Calculate and investigate high volume scrap items.
- Assist in daily quality outflow reporting and meeting.
- Issue internal quality Corrective Action Reports (CAR’s).
- Assist with review of internal CAR’s for approval/closure.
Qualifications:
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills.

- Good aptitude for math.
- Good analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Highly motivated work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to inspect product using in-house equipment (calipers, hardness testers, etc.) preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years experience in Quality and/or Production preferred.
