Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)

Rightstone is looking for a Physical Inventory & Records Specialist (Warehouse Associate) in Livermore, CA. The pay rate is $19.85/hr. for a 3-month contract with a temp-to-hire opportunity. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the high-volume movement and tracking of storage boxes, bins, and totes. You will work in a fast-paced environment that requires significant physical stamina and the use of proprietary scanning technology to manage incoming and outgoing orders for Iron Mountain’s records center. 

Essential Functions: 

• Move, arrange, lift, and carry storage boxes and totes ranging from 24 lbs to 100 lbs without assistance. 
• Process incoming and outgoing orders by reading labels and utilizing handheld scanners for inventory tracking. 
• Navigate the facility with heavy loads, including moving boxes up and down inclines, stairs, and over uneven surfaces. 
• Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and U-boat carts safely and efficiently. 
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level and manually load them onto trucks for shipment. 
• Use proprietary computer systems to determine box locations and maintain 100% data accuracy. 
• Maintain the record center by climbing and balancing ladders to retrieve or store files. 
• Perform repetitive physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. 

Roles and Requirements: 

• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs consistently and without assistance for prolonged periods. 
• Must possess the physical stamina to walk, stand, kneel, and stoop for the duration of an 8-hour shift. 
• Proficient in reading and writing English to accurately process labels and order documentation. 
• Comfort using handheld technology and basic computer systems for inventory management. 
• Must provide and wear safety-toe (steel/composite) protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with slip-resistant ratings. 
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. 
• Previous experience in high-volume warehouses or physical labor environments is highly preferred. 

This is a temporary/contract position. While benefits (Health, 401k, PTO) are not provided during the contract period, they may become available upon successful conversion to a permanent role.
