Rightstone is looking for a Warehouse Associate in Katy, TX. The pay rate is $17.00/hr. for a 3-month contract with a strong "Temp-to-Hire" potential and a consistent early morning 1st shift schedule.
In this role, you will be the key person responsible for driving an efficient, high-accuracy receiving and distribution workflow for a premier global electrical distributor. You will handle everything from the initial breakdown of inbound freight and technical inventory verification to operating advanced material handling equipment for strategic product put away. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented warehouse professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to build a long-term career.
What you will do
- Process incoming deliveries by breaking down bulk shipments and sorting materials for efficient storage.
- Verify the accuracy of inbound products and quantities against packing slips to ensure error-free inventory receiving.
- Utilize RF scanners to log material data and accurately assign products to designated totes within the warehouse management system.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including order pickers and reach trucks, to perform inventory put away operations.
- Maintain a clean, orderly workspace while adhering to all facility security and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to maximize daily production goals and uphold absolute inventory accuracy.
What we’re looking for
- A highly dependable professional ready for a consistent, early morning shift (Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM).
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment, specifically trucks and order pickers.
- Strong familiarity with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Physical ability to manage repetitive manual labor and a commitment to safety, including wearing required Steel Toe Shoes.
- A detail-oriented mindset capable of checking numbers and line items quickly against technical packing slips.

Important
This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period, but these may become available upon conversion to a permanent role.
