Warehouse Associate & Wire Selector (1st Shift)

Rightstone is looking for a Warehouse Associate & Wire Selector in Sioux City, IA. The pay rate is $17.00/hr for a 3-month contract with a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule and strong potential for permanent placement based on performance. 

In this role, you will be the key person responsible for keeping the facility’s supply chain moving smoothly—handling everything from inventory tracking and order fulfillment to operating specialized industrial wire-cutting machinery. This is an ideal position for a motivated, safety-conscious logistics professional who enjoys variation in their workday and wants to build a long-term career with an industrial leader. 

What you will do: 

• Safely operate specialized industrial wire-cutting machinery to customize product lengths according to technical client orders. 
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment utilizing RF scanners, managing inventory ranging from small individual boxes to full bulk pallets. 
• Safely receive inbound freight, verifying product accuracy before correctly organizing and storing materials within the warehouse. 
• Execute routine inventory cycle counts to ensure high-accuracy stock levels and systematically record any damaged or defective products. 
• Utilize material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, rolling ladders, and push carts to navigate the facility efficiently. 
• Maintain a highly organized, safe, and clean industrial workspace, actively contributing to the team's daily production goals. 

What we are looking for: 

• A dependable professional committed to a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM shift, with the flexibility for occasional on-call or mandatory overtime. 
• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution center, or industrial manufacturing environment is preferred. 
• Proven comfort or willingness to be trained on material handling machinery (forklifts, wire-cutters, and pallet jacks). 
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk the facility floors, and consistently lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Basic computer literacy and problem-solving skills to manage inventory tracking systems and digital RF scanners. 
• A safety-first team player who arrives daily in compliance with the facility's dress code (Steel Toe Shoes, High-Vis vest/shirt, and pants with belt loops). 

This is a temporary/contract position. While benefits (Health, 401k, PTO) are not provided during the contract period, they may become available upon successful conversion to a permanent role.
