Our client is seeking an IT Associate who’s ready to keep technology running smoothly and support a growing team. In this role, you’ll configure devices, troubleshoot issues, assist with onboarding, and help maintain an organized and secure IT environment. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.
IT Associate’s Responsibilities And Duties
- Configure, deploy, and support desktop and laptop systems for all end users.
- Prepare new workstations and laptops and set up new users with accounts, computers, printers, and shared drives.
- Investigate and resolve hardware and software issues while providing clear and helpful guidance.
- Maintain accurate IT asset and user databases, including account creation, modification, password resets, and group membership updates.
- Troubleshoot issues related to email, network connectivity, desktop applications, VPN, phones, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and support printers, faxes, modems, and related equipment.
IT Associate’s Qualifications And Skills
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of IT Helpdesk or PC support experience.
- Hands-on experience with MS Windows 7 and 10.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
- Experience with JD Edwards, IBM iSeries, or Infor M3 is a plus.
