Desktop Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join their team supporting a banking environment. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting end-user systems, ensuring seamless access to corporate applications, and providing top-tier technical support across the organization. This is a hybrid position based in New Haven County, CT.

Desktop Engineer’s Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory.
• Support Office 365 applications and cloud-based tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Remote Access issues.
• Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and patch management.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure reliable and secure operations.
  
  

Desktop Engineer’s Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 1 year of desktop support experience.
• Proven experience in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and O365 administration.
• Experience with remote access solutions and endpoint management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
