Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Clinical Instructor with experience in Labor and Delivery and Maternity nursing. This role focuses on planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that support ongoing professional development, including new hire orientation and continuing education initiatives. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.
Clinical Instructor’s Responsibilities And Duties
- Plan, design, and deliver educational programs such as new hire Nurse Orientation, Nursing Update Days, and clinical skill refreshers
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and modify programs as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify learning needs and develop targeted training solutions
- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to promote best practices and enhance patient care quality
Clinical Instructor’s Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery and Maternity
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse learners
- Prior experience in education or training is preferred but not required
