Right At School is currently hiring for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August 2026.

We are seeking a part-time, split-shift Before and After School Site youth staff, whom we call our Educators within the Weld County School District Re-3J.

This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy your summer and secure a position for the fall before summer begins!

Optional Opportunity: Ask us about part-time summer hours; we may have substitute/on-call staff positions available for our summer camp programs based on enrollment and staffing needs.

This is a great opportunity to gain insight into how Right At School operates before the fall season begins.

Part-Time Position Details-

  • Fall 2026 School Year: Before and After School split shift hours. Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Located in the Weld County School District Re-3J
  • NO WEEKENDS!
  • Starting Wage: $20 per hour (based on education and years of experience in a licensed childcare group setting)

PLEASE READ Experience/Educational Requirements:

  • 18 years old and a High School Graduate or GED
  • Must CURRENTLY reside in the surrounding areas
  • Required availability- Part-Time Monday-Friday (2:45 pm-5:45 pm) NO WEEKENDS!
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • State Licensing Requirement-Verifiable experience- 460 hrs w/ group supervising 4 or more children (one-on-one care, nanny, and babysitting do not qualify, must be classroom or licensed group childcare type supervision) of school-aged children (must be in this age range -kindergarten-6th grade)in a licensed childcare location and was able to manage children without supervision; OR 40 clocked hours training/coursework department-approved courses playground/safety
  • Will be able to provide a letter from a licensed childcare type facility showing at least 460 hours of supervising school-age children (kinder-6th grade) and three professional references that will be verified if hired

You’ll Drive The Mission By:

  • Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
  • Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
  • Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
  • Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
  • Meets regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following:

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • At least one year or 460 verifiable hours of experience working with school-age children under 5-13 years of age
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
  • Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
  • 18 years of age
  • At least one year or 460 verifiable hours of experience working with school-age children under 5-13 years of age
  • Proof of a high school diploma/GED required
