About The Role
You will provide specialized nursing care in the client’s private residence, focusing on respiratory management, personal care, and maintaining clinical stability.
Responsibilities
- Provide full nursing oversight for a ventilator/trach-dependent ALS client
- Perform trach suctioning, vent checks, and airway management
- Monitor respiratory and overall condition, promptly addressing any changes
- Administer medications and tube feedings as ordered
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living
- Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with family and care team
- Ensure a clean and safe home care environment
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Washington
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with trach and ventilator care
- Strong clinical judgment and confidence working independently
- Ability to manage medical emergencies in a home setting
- CPR certification (BLS or ACLS preferred)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Experience with ALS or neuromuscular disorders is a plus
- Weekly, consistent schedule – every Sunday from 8 AM to 4 PM & PRN
