Power Systems Utility Serviceman

Description

 The Power Systems Utility Serviceman supports shop, rental, and yard operations by handling, inspecting, and maintaining equipment, managing parts and inventory, and keeping work areas safe and organized. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:  

•  Return parts/cores to designated areas or vendors
•  Load/unload generators, SG, engines or other components
• Pick up and deliver components to/from vendors
• Conduct daily and monthly inspections
• Manage support tooling (including tracking and storage of engine stands)
• Paint components as back-up painter
• Maintain and restock shop consumables and housekeeping supplies
• Receive and coordinate branch transfer of parts/components 
• Perform check-in inspections for rental equipment
• Conduct off-rent inspections
• Set up and monitor load banks (as needed)
• Complete preventive maintenance on rental units
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on rental equipment
• Manage Cable inventory 
• Coordinate equipment intake procedures
• Keep parts area clean and organized
• Deliver and pick up parts locally (as needed)
• Assist on dyno when needed
• Assist with tech efficiency task
•  Keep yard clean, orderly, and safe 

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Valid driver's license

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
