Description:The Power Systems Service Dispatcher will lead the administrative effort for the Engine Division by overseeing the daily activity of the department. This candidate coordinates, monitors, and improves the department by providing support and guidance to internal and external customers.WHAT YOU'LL DOPrepare and submit new engine orders to Caterpillar and selected vendorsComplete dealer searches and trades for new engine requirementsManage the department’s inventory (receiving, tracking, storage, etc.)Prepare and monitor new engine configurations for accuracy and applicationAssist partners with technical requirements and other pertinent information (including rental department, outside vendors, customers, etc.)Monitor usage and hours of EPG rental unitsRetrieve and review DODGE reports and forward leads to appropriate team memberMonitor and advise on aged and slow moving inventoryBuild relationships with all internal customers and promote teamwork and a Riggs Win attitudeSchedules Customer ServiceResearch service and technical information to better inform our technicians to expedite repairsCoordinates the delivery and return of parts, tools, and information to field personnelIn charge of Work Order Management for PowerEnsures departments stays up to date on all permits, projects, inventory, and inventory usageRequirements:WHAT YOU'LL NEEDHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Knowledge of MS Office Suite software (Basic to Intermediate skill level)Ability to multi-taskBasic to Intermediate knowledge of BMTS and DBSIMPORTANT INFORMATIONWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
