Head Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a love for coffee, ensuring that every beverage is crafted to perfection. As a Head Barista, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming café environment. You will also be leading the barista staff and managing them too.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Create new recipes according to season. Every season our menu changes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, assisting with restocking as needed.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for all customers.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient service during peak hours while managing time effectively.

Skills

• Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is REQUIRED , minimum 3-4 years of barista experience with semi automatic machine.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Proficient in food preparation techniques and understanding of food safety standards.
• Experience with cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
