We are seeking a flexible Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide direct rehab care to patients. - Provide direct rehab care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
- Implement treatment plans and provide patient education
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate
- Liaison with patients, families, and support departments to adequately plan for patient needs
- Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in Maryland
- One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail
