The Apartment Service Technician reports directly to the Community Manager and is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Performing daily maintenance and repair work throughout the property
- Responding to and completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure long-term property performance
- Performing pool care and basic pool maintenance
- Assisting with landscaping and grounds upkeep
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized maintenance area
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and staff
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- HVAC or EPA certification (preferred)
- Pool operation and maintenance experience (a plus)
- Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience, with a strong focus on:
- Repairs
- Preventive maintenance
- Resident customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to reach overhead for extended periods
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
