Richmond Community Services is seeking a Quality Investigator to join our growing Quality team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, analytical professional who understands OPWDD regulations and is committed to safeguarding the health, safety, and rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
In this critical role, you will conduct investigations, collaborate with the Justice Center, analyze findings, identify trends, and help ensure our organization maintains the highest standards of care, compliance, and accountability.

What You'll Do
- Conduct investigations involving allegations of abuse, neglect, significant incidents, policy violations, and other compliance-related matters.
- Coordinate and communicate with the Justice Center regarding reportable incidents and investigative activities.
- Gather, review, and analyze records, documentation, video footage, electronic records, and other evidence.
- Conduct interviews with employees, individuals receiving services, families, witnesses, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare thorough, objective, and timely investigative reports and findings.
- Identify trends, systemic issues, and opportunities for quality improvement.
- Collaborate with Residential, Clinical, Nursing, Human Resources, and Leadership teams to support corrective action initiatives.
- Assist with regulatory audits, compliance reviews, and quality assurance activities.
- Monitor compliance with OPWDD regulations, agency policies, and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism throughout all investigative activities.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of OPWDD regulations, incident management requirements, and quality assurance practices.
- Experience conducting investigations, audits, compliance reviews, or similar fact-finding activities.
- Strong report-writing, interviewing, and analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between program locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with OPWDD-certified programs.
- Familiarity with the Justice Center reporting and investigative process.
- Experience with electronic health records, incident management systems, and compliance tracking tools.
- Quality Assurance, Compliance, Risk Management, or Investigative experience in healthcare or human services settings.
