Maintenance Technician I

Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician 1 with Richman Property Services, Inc.!

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a community-inspired, passion-driven, full-time Maintenance Technician 1 with a can-do attitude to join our growing Maintenance Operations team! Our Maintenance Tech 1 will support Hudson Ridge, a multi-family residential community in Port Richey, FL.

🔧 Position: Maintenance Technician 1


📍 Location: Hudson Ridge, Port Richey, FL 34668


⏰ Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, 40-hour work week, with on-call and weekend shifts as required

Key Qualifications:


· Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a multi-family community, handling service requests, make-readies, curb appeal, etc.


· EPA I & II or EPA Universal is required for this position. If you have the right skills, experience, and drive but don’t have your EPA, we may consider hiring you and sponsoring your EPA certification within your first 75 days on the job!


· Valid/active Driver’s License required

🎯 Responsibilities:


· Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property


· Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines


· Manage service requests and ensure timely completion


· Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act


· Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment


· Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner


· Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service


· Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development


· Assist in property preventative maintenance plan


· Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds


· Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Requirements:


Education:


· High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred

Experience:


· Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper


· Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.


· Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws


· Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws


· Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Skills & Certifications:


· EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license


· Valid Driver’s License required


· Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
