Job DescriptionPosition Summary:ThePressUtilityisa valuable roleforany food manufacturing business. OurPressUtilities perform essential workperforming inspections and general sanitation of the pasta production areato ensure safe and edible product is produced consistent with food safety standards. This role performs strenuous workassistingproduction personnel with sanitation issues during start-ups, shutdowns, and routine production operations.Dutiesand Responsibilities:Performs in-depth cleaning of production lines according toMaster Sanitation Schedule. Monitors any wear on equipment for factorsthat could affect production, and communicates equipment wear per standard operating proceduresCommunicates equipment conditions causing sanitation issues that require attention during a periodic maintenance cycle eventMaintainslogs for food safety audit purposes. Participate in departmentfood safety and safety auditsAssistteam members with sanitation efforts on unassigned machines, andmaintain, and clean other areas, as neededOther duties, as assignedEducationand Experience Required:Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtimeMust be at least 18 years of agePreferred Education, Experience,and Skills:High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institutionPreviousmanufacturing experiencePreviousexperienceoperatinga forklift or reach truckPreviousexperience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferredPhysical Requirements:Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:Must be able to liftup-to50 poundsMust be able to work in hot, humid,and coldmanufacturing environmentMust be able to work incrowdedspaces for 4 hours per shiftMust be able to bend and crawl for 7 hours per shiftMust be able to climbladders for4 hours per shiftMust be able tostand for 6 hours per shiftMust be able to walk for6 hours per shiftMust be able to reachand grasp for6 hours per shift
