What You’ll Do
- Operate and manage extrusion and press equipment according to production schedules
- Monitor mixers, flour/water ratios, drying stages, silos, conveyors, and material flow
- Perform quality checks throughout the drying process; identify defects and make timely adjustments
- Set up and manage egg product hoppers according to procedures
- Record machine readings and production data; report abnormal readings immediately
- Perform die changes and assist other operators as needed
- Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and audit‑ready
- Report equipment issues and complete machine logs and work orders
- Follow all food safety, quality, and safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level necessary to perform the essential functions of the job
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Stand and walk up to 12 hours per shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs (team lift for heavier items)
- Bend, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, and climb ladders
- Work in hot, humid, and dusty manufacturing environments
- Perform repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling
