MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The job requires two years of post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field, and one to three years of increasingly responsible clerical experience, preferably public-sector experience, or equivalent. Must successfully pass a fingerprint based criminal history check and maintain annual certification through the BCA.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Previous data analysis experience preferred.

The Records/Data Specialist provides high level administrative support activities to the Community Corrections Department. This position serves as a user administrator for multiple computer systems and databases used to compile, maintain, and analyze department data. The Records/Data Specialist works closely with the Department Manager to compile statistical data related to department activities, programs, grants, and client supervision outcomes. The Records/Data Specialist creates reports, charts, graphs, and data dashboards for department activities. Additional tasks include: maintaining record retention processes, auditing case records, serving as a liaison for IT issues, and serving as an assistant TAC for BCA processes.
- Serves as the IT liaison and user administrator for computer applications, databases, and record management/retention.
- Maintains and audits client information databases and records.
- Prepares statistical reports and conducts data analysis for Director and Supervisor(s) as assigned.
- Compiles and analyzes outcome data.
- Completes data/records requests for the Court and parties.
- Provides administrative support for the department and multiple program areas which include data entry and analysis.
- Coordinates special projects; designs and prepares a wide variety of statistical and research reports assigned by the department management team.
- Serves as an Assistant BCA TAC for the department.
- Performs other duties as necessary.

HIRING RANGE / UNION: $27.67 - $28.91 per hour / GU – Grade 8
HOURS: Normal business hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Position is fulltime, 40 hours per week
