Our Penobscot Energy Branch is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Service Coordinator and Dispatcher to help support our technicians and ensure our customers receive timely, high-quality service.
What You'll Do
As a valued member of our service team, you will play a key role in connecting customers with the help they need. Your day will include:
- Receiving and organizing customer service requests
- Scheduling service calls and dispatching technicians efficiently
- Tracking technician time, job progress, and ensuring timely follow-up
- Communicating with customers if schedules change or updates are needed
- Assisting technicians with directions or customer account updates
- Maintaining accurate paperwork, payroll entries, and work order documentation
- Supporting a positive, safety-focused, and collaborative work culture
- Acting as a helpful liaison between technicians, customers, and vendors
- Ensuring that both customers and technicians feel supported every step of the way

What We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have 3–6 months of related experience, or a certificate from a college or technical school (or an equivalent combination)
- Are comfortable reading and interpreting standard procedures and communicating effectively
- Enjoy working with numbers and have basic math skills
- Enjoy a fast-paced work environment
- Are familiar with basic computer programs (databases, spreadsheets, internet software, etc.)
- Want to contribute ideas and help create an innovative, supportive workplace
- Believe in teamwork, positivity, and professionalism
