Metal Fabrication Technician

Role: Metal Fabrication Technician responsible for measuring, calculating, fabricating, and bending standing seam metal roofing panels, trim, gutters, and flashing components to precise specifications.

Responsibilities

• Measure and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and field measurements.
• Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment such as brakes, shears, and bending tools safely and efficiently.
• Fabricate and bend roofing panels, flashing, and accessories to project specifications.
• Verify dimensions and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with sheet metal measurement, calculation, and fabrication.
• Proficiency operating metal brakes and bending equipment.
• Understanding of standing seam roofing systems and flashing fabrication.
• Strong math, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in roofing or gutter installation and fabricating custom profiles is a plus.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Safely operate fabrication tools and hand tools.
