What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher position at REYBOLD GROUP OF COMPANIES?
Reybold is seeking a hard working Concrete Finisher for our growing Construction Site Operations Department. In this role you will be responsible to effectively subgrade, stone, and form after reviewing project plans and location for concrete to be poured for several concrete projects which include but are not limited to, curb work, flat work, sidewalks, ADA ramps and paving.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review project plans and location of the concrete pour
- Gather and inspect equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
- Install rebar or concrete forms as needed
- Communicate with the concrete crew about the timing and completion of each phase of the project
- Use vibrating screeds and hand finishing to smooth freshly poured concrete
- Inspect finished product to make sure it meets specifications
- Follow all industry and governmental safety protocols
- Maintain equipment and make repairs when necessary
Education and/or Experience Qualifications
- Five years of construction experience working with concrete
- Proficient with industry tools and materials
- Experience with rebar and hand finishing
- Deloot certified
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License

Work Environment
Construction equipment operators work in nearly every weather condition, although rain or
extremely cold weather can stop some types of construction. Workers often get dirty, greasy,
muddy, or dusty. Some operators work in locations on large construction projects, such as
highways and dams.
