Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC units and perform corrective action.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Monitor and test system performance; adjust controls as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Respond promptly to emergency service requests and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to resolve facility issues.
- Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and extend equipment life.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
- EPA Section 608 certification (refrigerant handling).
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a related maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical/mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
