Our client is looking for an Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer to join their team for a 12 month contract role in Scottsdale, AZ. This role will be ON-SITE in the office.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field AND 8 years of job-related experience,
- OR a Master's degree and 6 years of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Department of Defense Secret Clearance is preferred at time of hire.
- Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
- Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a systems engineer for the client program, you’ll work as a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining, developing and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system. We provide warfighters with a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system.
We are looking for somene with:
- Experience with 3G/5G communication systems
- Core networking
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
