- Conduct routine inspections of the facility grounds and structures to identify and initiate corrective action(s) for safety and environmental discrepancies and physical and systems discrepancies.
- Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and product quality meets specifications.
- Inspect equipment and product to ensure optimum safety, utilization, and quality. Communicate with all employees concerning safety, scheduling, problem-solving, overtime, vacations, and training.
- Review and support the master scheduling process to meet production needs.
- Plan process activities and follow established priorities regarding procedures, equipment capabilities, process team performance, and staffing levels.
- Review, analyze, and act to correct non-conformance in areas of safety, production, policies, and procedures.
- Lead, coach, and support line process teams to improve quality, increase flexibility and reduce costs.
- Conduct required team meetings and safety training.
- Provide feedback to hourly employees on job performance.
- Promote and implement our Core Values daily.
- Ability to understand and work well with team members, both in operations & support teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Five-year supervisory experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of plant equipment and safety.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history.
- A self-motivated individual that can multi-task and lead others.
