Position Overview

Reporting directly to the VP/Director of Operations, this person will work closely with Plant Managers as well as the EPM, PE, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams. In many cases, they’ll act as a “Delegated Process Owner” on behalf of senior leaders, managing high-impact operational projects. The role requires frequent collaboration with multiple departments, especially Supply Chain, PLS, and FP&A.

Primary Duties
Lead and support key operational initiatives and projects tied to organizational goals set by senior leadership.
Manage and participate in continuous improvement efforts, startup and ramp-up projects, concept development, resource planning, scheduling, financial evaluation, and performance reporting.
Drive operational excellence within the category by implementing consistent standards, scalable processes, and best practices that promote efficiency and sustainability.
Analyze cost structures and operational data to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall business performance.
Develop technical and process design expertise within the category and actively share knowledge across teams to strengthen organizational capability.
Provide indirect leadership through influence and collaboration, working closely with senior operations leadership and plant teams to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree required.
7 years of leadership experience in plant operations (flexible based on skillset and experience).
Proven background in managing projects within a plant or manufacturing setting.
Demonstrated success within the specific product or operations category, with measurable business results.
Strong ability to work effectively with team members at all levels—from production floor staff to senior executives.
Technical and process-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience in project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
